Daily Collage : Doorway
The prompt of "doors or windows" was timely for me as I'd just come across this pillared doorway which fit the page perfectly.

Daily Collage : Numbers
Most of these numbers came from a large sales brochure and it took at least an hour simply cutting them out. After laying out the page, I even had some numbers left over.
This was my first page to cover only the text portion of the stamp-collecting book. I like the margins that remain. The collaged area here is 4.5"x6.5".

Daily Collage : Blue
This is a very loose page, with emply space filled in with colored pencil. After this one, I decided I didn't want to fill the entire page from edge-to-edge, so future pages covered only the text portion of each page.
I began dating each page by using a clipped date (you can see it in the lower-left corner of this one). Every day, I have several printed dates from the current TV Guide. They work perfectly for this purpose.
[edit]: ...until mid-October, when TV Guide changed their format. No more dates available from there, so I began collecting them from weekly sales flyers and wherever else I can find them.

Daily Collage : Begin
I first made this loose collage in a composition book, thinking I'd be using the composition book as my gluebook support. I glued down my selected papers (including the price sheet for the composition book which came in a pack of 3), then layered watercolor around it, then hated it. Composition book papers simply don't have enough strength to hold up to collage.
Very carefully, I lifted each piece and transferred the work to an old stamp-collecting book, and added colored pencil instead of watercolor. Much better. This now-altered book was a perfect home for the daily collages.
