Today was my last day to be unprompted for a while, so I approached this page without any plans. After a bit of magazine-flipping, everything that stood out for me was about illumination, so I adhered it all into my gluebook.

Curiously enough, when I first conceived of a "curves" target to add to my "opposite attributes" list, I was thinking of an elegant bannister along a curving stairway.
Honest.

(The black marks in the margin was the book's previous owner's way of highlighting passages.)

The first image I picked out was for the background, a closeup view of wavy hair. But the background that was actually glued is not the one I first picked. As I continued along snipping out the heart and hands, the first image kind of...disappeared. I searched and searched for it, but it had simply vanished.

Some day, I'll be flipping through one of those magazines again and that piece will…
