The main text on the first card was bordered with a broad-tip accent marker; that border was further outlined with a fine-tip marker. The combination makes the border appear to be translucent with dimension, as if it was pasted tissue paper or vellum.

A brand new magazine purchase brought me the turtle and shell. I have so many magazines stacked up that I've been hesitating to buy new ones, yet getting the "fresh meat" is always a treat.

I really like this first card. One would never guess that it was made of 3 images intertwined together.

Because it's difficult to judge size on the web, I should point out that the stamps in the second card are not actual size; they were illustrations for a postage stamp collection advertisement. (My gluecards are 3.25" x 5.25".)
