Altered Silver

Well, there they are, the last cards of the third deck, and my final gluecards.

As much as I've enjoyed the "daily glue" for eight months, I need to set the gluestick to the side and pick up some pencils, pens and brushes. And who knows, maybe there'll be a gluestick in there, too. After all, I love the mix of mixed media. :)

It's all about being vigilant and observant to what's in front of you, connecting the things that maybe no one else would ever connect. Kind of sounds like gluebooking. :)

Today's second card makes me especially happy. It's direct, simple and visually attractive. Very satisfying indeed.

Both of today's cards share a small illusion of appearing as if portions are in watercolor. The illusion passes with closer inspection, but it's still kind of cool that it's there.

Lots of fun things happening here. A computer mouse makes a great symbol (and they're fun to cut and glue, too)!

A good gluing day with a satisfying output. That strange multicolored alien thing is actually a leg of a freshwater shrimp.

Heh...no, the first card for today is not about suicidal thinking. It just ended up looking that way.

Some days I find more "things" than others. On this day, "things" seemed to be all over, waiting to be snipped and glued.

More glue-y conversations with self. Love the Tiki gods.
