After making the second group of layer-painted papers for the APoH project, I scanned the individual papers, then prepared four sets to print out at ATC size, after some hue/saturation modifications. Thus like last time, the four newest layer-painted papers emerged as sixteen ATC backgrounds.

Here's a little fun activity I've been intending to do for a long time: altered text ATCs. Thanks to a recent discussion on the AlteredText Yahoogroup, I found the inspiration to give it a go.

Layer-Painted Papers

One of my current altered book projects has only one stage in motion: to initially paint spreads in various ways using a limited palette of six hues. Nothing else will be happening with that book until the pages are all painted, but thinking ahead, I anticipate that I might want to add some tags or whatnot into the pages, and if so, they too should be developed with the same palette.…

ATC : Tiny collage pieces on the job

I looked at the piles of tiny collage pieces I'd made and decided to give some of them something to do. I picked out eight of the most Hallowe'en-themed, then set about putting together a small ATC series.

En début novembre, j'ai décidé de faire à un nouvel ATC chaque jour et j'ai choisi un motif de l'alphabet français. Je comprends très peu le français, mais j'apprends plus toujours. Ce projet était une manière de plaisir d'apprendre de nouveaux mots. :)	At the beginning of November, I decided to make a new ATC each day and chose to do a French alphabet. I don't know French very well, but I keep learning more. This project was a fun way to learn several new words.

After making five "A" cards followed by only a single "B," I wasn't holding out a lot of hope for an ATC alphabet. Too many other projects demanded my primary attention. Yet when it came time for "C," I managed to make four that still rank among my favorites.
